New from H&M: animal print harem/jodphur/peg trousers

I bought these in H&M yesterday. They cost 20 pounds and are 100% viscose. Basically I just bought them to have something comfy to lounge around in at home, but I might wear them out with a pair of wedges and maybe a black cropped jacket.

They come in black as well, but I of course had to get the animal printesque version. I’m not normally a fan of patterns this sharp and bright, but needed something to lighten up these horribly dark and rainy days.

New from H&M – triple black

Apparently my sub-conscious mind is totally convinced that my closet needs even more black clothes. It keeps steering me towards them in the shops – despite the sunny and humid hotness outside. So now I’m the proud owner of three more black items from H&M:

Pris 20 pund.

I love the basic look of this long cotton/polyamid/elasthane skirt with at small slit on the back. I will pair it with a white tank top in the summer and asymmetrical layers in the autumn. Price 20 pounds.

I decided to try out the “cropped t-shirt” trend, and I rather like this one when worn with high-waisted trousers. Price 7 pounds.

Fås i flere fine farver, bl.a. en lys karrygrøn.

I love the cut of this top, although the quality isn’t brilliant as it’s 100% polyester. But it has nice shoulder pads and is perfect over at top on chilly summer evenings. Cheap as well: 15 pounds. It also comes in other colours.

Suitcase favourite: H&M long beige dress

Long dresses and skirts are slowly but surely making their way to the catwalk and the highstreet, and so is beige. So when I was out shopping for a new summer dress for our trip I decided to get this one.

It’s from H&M, cost 30 pound and has quickly become a suitcase favourite. I’ve worn it in Bangkok on not too warm and humid evenings and at the beach at Koh Lanta.

And I’m going to wear it in much colder Japan with a short jacket. It’s made from 100% viscose and is sooo comfortable.

In English: I ventured into H&M the other day to look for a shirt for my husband. Unfortunately H&M are clever and forced me to walk through the women’s aisles to get to the men’s. I left the shop without the shirt but with these two in my bag.

I love the colour of the cardigan, the shoulder pads and the fact that it is made from 100% viscose. And it isn’t black! Price: 20 pounds.

The dress is made from 100% polyester (aargh) but I love the shape and the wrinkly effect.  Price: 30 pounds.
